Tomball built its economy on oilfield services, and the yards along SH-249, FM 2920 and Holderrieth Road still move drilling equipment, generators, pumps and skids every day. The SH-249/Grand Parkway interchange, the FM 2920 crossings and the long new tollway stretch northwest of Tomball are where trucks roll and loads shift up here, often with oilfield equipment on the trailer. Those recoveries need a rotator that can lift an off-center load without shifting it further, and rigging for drilling equipment that was never designed to be picked up from the side. We carry both, and we coordinate the lane closure with the toll authority and the responding agency.
Off the freeway the ground turns to sand and pine straw fast. Magnolia, Pinehurst and the ranch roads toward Todd Mission produce winch-outs and off-road recoveries where a rotator on outriggers does the job a straight wrecker would spend hours failing at. Recovered units go to the dealers along SH-249 and FM 2920 or back to our TDLR-licensed storage facility in Sugar Land.
